Sadegh Nobari, Ph.D.

Sadegh obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. His thesis title is “Scalable Data-Parallel graph algorithms from generation to management”. During his PhD studies he has been an intern at EPFL. Prior to joining Skoltech, he was a postdoc at Singapore Management University. He won the SMU innovation award in 2013. In his research, Dr. Nobari has introduced fast parallel algorithms for graph data management problems, intelligible privacy models for social networks, and fast spatial join algorithms of small footprint. His research interest is processing big data using parallel algorithms. He is passionate about graphs, as well as about many-core and multi-core computing architectures.
